Unlike an internal catheter, it is worn externally and does not require insertion into the urethra. When used with the Nefiya Urine Collection System, urine is directed away from the body and into a collection canister.

How long can one catheter be used?
For optimal hygiene and performance, each catheter should be replaced at least every 24 hours. It should also be replaced if it becomes soiled with blood, feces, or semen.

No. Each Nefiya Male External Catheter is designed for single use only. Do not wash or reuse the catheter.
